Summer Camp – 2024 (Camp Scouthaven)

The information for next year’s summer camp has been posted.  We are registered for session 4 (8/08-8/11) this year.  Bunk Deposits will be due by 1/31/2023 ($100.00 per person attending camp)  Below is the brochure and information for camp.  It appears the theme is “Galactic Adventure in a Distant Galaxy”.  The link to apply for the campership is below.  The due date is March 1, 2024.

Cub Scout Sessions 

• Session 1 – 7/21 to 7/24
• Session 2 – 7/27 to 7/30
• Session 3 – 8/02 to 8/05
• Session 4 – 8/08 to 8/11

Cub Scout Summer Camp

• $355 – Cub Scout
• $100 – Den Chief (must be serving as an approved Den Chief in a Unit)
• $175 – Cub Scout Adult + Registration Fee of $90.00
• Bunk deposits are $100/person (due date 1/31/2024)

The fundraisers that we have been doing and the money your scout has earned in their scout account can be used for summer camp fees.  They will also have a campership application that you can fill out to see if you qualify for any assistance.

Adults Attending Summer Camp 

All adults attending and staying overnight at Summer Camp MUST be registered (Paid Adult Registration ($90.00) in the BSA and have valid Youth Protection Training. It is the Council Policy that all adults must have a paid adult registration with the BSA. Any adult that arrives at Camp that does not have a current paid BSA registration and Youth Protection Training will not be permitted to stay overnight.  Units must turn in a Roster showing Paid Adults (Merit Badge Counselor, Lion Partner or Tiger Adult are not Paid Adult Positions) that are registered with their Unit by June 30, 2023.
